When: On October 4, 2011 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Where: 3780 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010, USA

People often ask me how to generate jobs in overseas?

My answer is always simple.

“All you have to do is to give what you already have.”

Creating one from nothing is more difficult than generating 1 million from 100,000.

At the same time, losing 1 million takes no effort than losing everything.

This is a true in all fields: getting a job, landing a multi-million dollar project, or simply having good friends and love ones.

Raised in a “traditional architect’s family” in Japan, educated / trained in the US / Europe, and now practicing in the US, Europe, Saudi-Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, India, China, and Japan, I have gained unique insights and developed a wide-range in perspective towards how our profession or the entire lifestyle can be transformed in 21st century.

Most of people think that graduating from a good school will secure a great job.

Most of people think that working for a great company will provide security, and lead to a successful life.

Our recent experiences such as Lehman Shock in 2008, or Tohoku Earthquake in Japan 2011, gave me a concrete idea of how we should re-think about the traditional way of thinking or “common sense” of “how-to” (including a redefinition of success or ‘”happiness”).

After hundreds of chess game practices on and a bit of ’”self-experimentation of defining ultimate fears,” I couldn’t just wait for a chance to visit to appear in front of me, but to create an opportunity: Zero to 1

I needed a different game-plan so that not only can I survive in this world, but to do well and fulfill my precious time in life..

This talk is about how to create something special from nothing and to begin enjoying the so-called ideal lifestyle…….(in progress)
